Triple I for GH hosted a session at SOCAP24

On October 28, 2024, Triple I for GH hosted a session titled "Mobilizing Capital for Global Health: A G7 Impact Investment Initiative." at SOCAP24* held in San Francisco. The session was moderated by Eric Rice, Senior Fellow at Sorenson Impact, and participated by Mr. Steve Davis, Triple I for GH Co-Chair, Ms. Scarlett Chen, Managing Partner at Verge HealthTech Fund, and Ms. Leeat Gellis, Director of Social Finance at Grand Challenges Canada.

During the session, Mr. Davis underscored the ongoing efforts of Triple I for GH to bridge the healthcare financing gap by mobilizing private capital through sustainable financing alongside public funds with a view to solving global health issues and achieving Universal Health Coverage and SDG3 by 2030. Panelists addressed the need for innovative approaches to financing as well as the important role of the G7 in leveraging investments for health-related projects across the globe.
